Hi everyone! You're probably wondering who I am, and why I made this page dedicated to Teen Suicide. I'm Katie Chapman, a high school student at Dakota High School and this is for my senior exit project. I'm passionate about teen suicide because I believe death should never be seen as a "way out" or a better option than life. J.K.Rowling once said "we're all humans, aren't we? Every human life is worth the same and worth saving" and I agree. There is nothing more tragic than death, except knowing it was intentional. I feel that in order to put an end to teenage suicide, we as people need to change our ways of thinking and put others before us. Something as simple as being a friend to someone who looks like they're struggling, they may feel as if they are a nuisance and they have no purpose anymore. Step up and show them that everyone is important.
